Where to find stars in mario 3d land

Miss one coin, the level will have to be reset to make the green ring appear again. About halfway through the level, there is a warp block that will take players to a bonus stage. This course consists of skating down an icy slope riddled with obstacles and Goombas. The skating is fairly difficult to control, and one wrong move could cause the character to lose momentum or go flying off the edge. There is only one shot at this minigame after failing once the box is gone until reentering the level.

If the stage is conquered, there is a star waiting in the center of a large platform. Just don't miss it and go off the edge. A bulk of this stage is spent balancing on a moving block above lava. The goal is to run and jump against the block to stay on solid ground.

The final star is high in the air and leaves no choice but to run against the longest side of the block as it stands on end. There is just enough time to jump up and grab the star at the last second before having to maneuver to make sure the character lands on the block as it lays back down. As with many stars, timing is key and one misplaced jump could spell doom. This star is missed by many on their first run-through and takes clever thinking to find it.

After the section with Plessie, use the catsuit to run up the side of the wall on the left. After making it to the edge, climb up again until there are a set of falling platforms with a green star floating above them. While not difficult to obtain, the star is so far out of the way, and there isn't even a clue to finding it. In the area with a large group of bunnies, the star seems easy enough to get.

One of them is glowing green. However, once players give chase, the bunny will lead them all over the area until they get lucky enough to dive onto it. Most dives performed will fall just short and cause it to get even further away.

Even if there is an attempt to cut it off, it will quickly change course. Only after making a perfectly timed dive, can this pesky star be claimed. Well, it turns out that unlocking the final five requires an even greater effort. The final five Stamps in Super Mario 3D World are unlocked by beating every level in the game with every playable character including Rosalina. That goal includes all Blockades and Mystery Houses although you can skip Captain Toad levels if you want to.

Remember the fireworks from the original Super Mario Bros. If you need a refresher, you just need to end a level with a 1, 3, or 6 on the timer. You can unlock additional Stars on your Super Mario 3D World profile and even make them glitter if you complete the following steps:.
